Happy New Year from the CODCHANGE project!
We are now back to the office after a well deserved Christmas break and with some news in the project's team. Since October, Prof. Esben Moland Olsen has taken the role of project manager due to researcher Albert Fernández Chacón starting a new permanent position at NINA - Norwegian Institute for Nature Research. However, Albert will continue linked to the project for one more year, to finish ongoing tasks in WP2. Postdoc Martina Martorell Barceló came back to the office in November after recovering form her leg injury and has resumed her work within WP1. Regarding scientific production, we now have one manuscript from WP1 under review in ICES Journal of Marine Science and another one in preparation together with our partners at University of California, Berkeley, with additional manuscripts with results from WP2 (cod ecotype demography & population growth) also planned to be submitted this 2026.
Stay tuned for future updates!
